Carlos Pérez
The mixed media paintings that emerge onto Carlos' canvases come from a visceral place. His artistic process is an elated ritual that brings to the surface stories of his life experiences. His images are influenced by artists of the Mexican, Chicano, and Indigenous art movements, such as, Rufino Tamayo, Rupert Garcia, and Edgar Heap of Birds. His works possess an innate force of passion that speaks to us in an expressive and spontaneous way.

G. Levy
***
Levy studies visual perception by tweaking it ever so slightly, whether in manipulating completed images with overlays or rearrangement or by responding to meditative marks. Her work is identified by its strong use of color and texture and maybe a little wit. Levy has casually studied figure drawing as well as painting at several art programs including the San Francisco Art Institute. Additionally, she was a practicing architect for twenty years and painted the first utility art box in San Jose, CA.

I enjoy taking memories from my travels and creating colorful, whimsical pieces that elicit happiness and an appreciation of color and detail. Sometimes, it's a beautiful view and other times it's a simple courtyard or a plain green, screen door. A floral still life can be a world unto itself. All deserve a second look.

Al Preciado

My work has transitioned from depiction of warrior women to ballerinas to landscape to the depiction of suburbia scenes in acrylics. My work is messy, color drenched, and emotive. I have shown in Germany, NYC, NJ, SoCal and the Bay Area for the last 40 years. I'm now retired and do art full-time.
